In collaboration with S.R.D. Consulting, LLC, Revolution Labs LLC, and Solmotiv LLC, Sunrise Technologies performed a feasibility study for the mountain community of Gold Hill, Colorado, to improve community resilience and increase use of renewable energy.  Read the full feasibility study report for more details.

Using its proprietary PRISM tools, Sunrise Technologies identified an opportunity to increase the energy production for a 300+ MW  group of solar facilities in the southwest U.S.  By tuning the tracker controller settings, we delivered a 1.2% boost to plant performance, equivalent to over $5 million in revenue over the life of the projects.

To support an investor refinancing effort, Sunrise Technologies conducted on-site inspections at 11 ground-mount, rooftop, and carport solar facilities in New Jersey.   The scope of work included  evaluation of construction and O&M quality as well as identification of future operational risks.

Sunrise Technologies has used short-term ground irradiance measurements to calibrate long-term satellite-derived solar resource data in support of project financing for over 30 projects spanning 11 U.S. states and three countries.  Our techniques have withstood the scrutiny of multiple independent engineering firms.

Sunrise Technologies has supported performance testing prior to Substantial Completion/Final Acceptance on over 100 projects totaling 1,000+ MW.  We are experienced with the ASTM E2848-13/E2939-13 standards and other testing methodologies, including regression-based, performance ratio, and adjusted energy tests.

Poor installation quality and O&M negligence can cause severe system performance issues.  Sunrise Technologies has provided expert witness services for large-scale PV projects in litigation, including lost energy generation estimates, lost revenue calculations, and performance testing.
